January 1924

Founded as Yanagida Ironworks in Ipponmatsu, Naka-ku, Yokohama City, Japan

November 1949

Incorporated as Yanagida Ironworks, Ltd.

May 1957

New facilities are constructed at our current corporate headquarters address; company relocates

March 1976

Electric component manufacturing division incorporates as an independent entity, Yanagida Communications CO.,LTD.

September 1981

Fujieda Plant is constructed in Fujieda City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan

December 1983

Corporate headquarters facilities are rebuilt

January 1990

Masayuki Yanagida is appointed as President and Representative Director

June 1993

Company name is changed to YANAGIDA ENGINEERING CO.,LTD.

September 1996

Component assembly division (handling gear case assemblies, etc.) is established within the main facility of our affiliate, Yanagida Communications CO.,LTD.

Annual output of 2-stroke engine cylinders reaches 500 thousand units

Electric discharge machining division is established
